Mental Health Awareness
Mental Health Awareness training reduces stigma and promotes early intervention strategies if people notice Mental Health issues within themselves or colleagues. The course is designed to build both personal awareness and practical capability to support others and can be tailored specifically to the cohort making it valuable for workplace mental health initiatives, community organisations, or anyone wanting to become more mental health literate.
Knowledge and Understanding:
- Define mental health and identify where individuals fall on the mental health continuum
- Distinguish between mental health and mental illness
- Recognise key risk factors that can negatively impact mental health and protective factors that promote wellbeing
- Identify signs and symptoms of common mental health conditions, particularly anxiety and depression
- Understand various treatment approaches and interventions available for mental health conditions
- Understand how to access mental health resources and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services effectively
- Reduce stigma around mental health discussions through increased awareness and understanding

Mental Health Awareness
- Can be facilitated on-site or online
- 3 hours content + 15 min break
- Up to 20 participants on-site or 16 participants online
- Follow up email to participants with links to resources discussed during session
- Option to include a printed resource provided to all participants
Standard Mental Health First Aid
The 12-hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course is for any interested adult. You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
Refresher Mental Health First Aid
Refresher courses are 4 hour face-to-face courses that allow people who have previously completed a 12 hour Mental Health First Aid course to refresh their knowledge and skills. For people who are Accredited MHFAiders, the refresher courses offer an opportunity to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years.
Blended Online MHFA workplace
The Blended Online MHFA workplace course teaches participants how to assist a co-worker, or work team member who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. I can facilitate the Blended Workplace Mental Health course which allows blended delivery options to suit your workplace such as enrolling your staff in the E-learning component (6 hours) and then facilitating the face to face component in your workplace (4 hours) or on-line (2 x 2.5 hours) using simulated work-based scenarios covering how to deal with a co-worker experiencing mental health challenges.
MHFA Engaging Leaders
MHFA Engaging Leaders is a 90-minute session that provides information to senior leaders, decision-makers and influences about how MHFA can support mentally healthy workplaces.
MHFA for the Suicidal Person
The 4-hour Mental Health First Aid for the Suicidal Person course is for any interested adult. You will learn the skills and acquire the knowledge required to safely have a conversation with a suicidal person.

I have years of experience developing and delivering mental health & well-being, self development, financial literacy and employability skills programs for a range of participants. When developing content, I am able to draw on my diverse experience working for both myself and other businesses. I work in partnership with local government, community foundations & organisations and national & local businesses to develop training programs with measured outcomes.
